Notifications are a useful and necessary part of every event that happens. By means of them, attendees receive all notifications about important announcements, as well as various reminders, for instance, about upcoming meetings, what they will be about, how much time is left before the start, etc.

When you may receive notifications from PINE:

  • Meetings notifications will tell you If you have an upcoming meeting with an attendee

  • Announcements will inform you about crucial information directly from the organizer

  • New message notifications will help you to stay connected with the other attendees

  • Chat mentions will help you to see clearly through any public chat

  • Session reminders inform about the bookmarked sessions 10 minutes before the start

  • Rate session notification will ask for feedback for the viewed session

You can receive notifications in two ways: as push notifications (they will be sent within the web browser and you will receive them all in the Pinebot) or via the email address that was provided to organizers while registering for the event.

Please note that in case you want to receive push notifications in the web browser, you need to allow the PINE platform to send you these notifications.

By receiving notifications, you will significantly increase your productivity at the event, knowing ahead of time what to expect. Organizers always take care of keeping their participants as informed as possible, so the risk of missing something is significantly reduced.

If you do not want to receive these notifications, you can easily turn them off in the “Event Settings” section.

You can also choose the type of notifications you want to turn off.
